Wolf Blass Estates of the Barossa 4 pack

Wolf Blass Estates of the Barossa 4 pack

The 'Estates of the Barossa' are four distinctively different Shiraz, crafted from a single variety, harvested from a single vintage, and handled with the same deft winemaking touch; but allowed to express their individuality through the sites, soils, climate and vineyard practices that encompass each of their unique and inimitable sub-regional terroirs.

Back in the early days of Barossa winemaking, growers would deliver their grapes by horse and cart, and later, on the back of the old farm truck. By necessity, they would sell to the winery that offered them the closest, or most direct route. Wolf Blass’s traditional source route lay in a straight line through the centre of the valley, from Lyndoch in the south, right through the heart at Dorrien and north to St John’s, then following a sweeping eastern arc over the far side of the winery to Moculta in the northern reaches of Eden Valley.

The ‘Estates of the Barossa’ represent critical markers along this route - the districts that have shaped and defined the style of Wolf Blass with their character and distinction.
