Coriole Mary Kathleen Cabernet Merlot 2010

Coriole Mary Kathleen Cabernet Merlot 2010

Coriole Vineyards in McLaren Vale was founded in 1967 by Hugh and Molly Lloyd.

Mary Kathleen is named after family matriarch, Mary Kathleen Lloyd, one of the founders of Coriole. It is usually produced from three small, select vineyards on Coriole's estate. The wine was first produced in 1992.

A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot. The nose is warm and enticing, with hints of Asian spice, redcurrant, aniseed and cassis. The palate is soft and approachable. It is medium bodied in structure with bright red fruit and fine grained cedary tannin. A wine of great balance and elegance that will age gracefully.
