Pick your pinot - pinot gris or pinot grigio?
Eden Road’s The Long Road Pinot Gris 2017 is crisp, fresh, and fruity. The flavours of ripe pear, wild honey, raspberry and lime make it well-suited to the warmer weather of spring and summer. The pink blush is created by allowing the grape to stay in the skin slightly longer before beginning the pressing process. Making it not only enjoyable to drink but a pleasure to look at.
The Pizzini Pinot Grigio 2017 is full of flavours that jump out of the glass. Lemon zest, lime, and sherbert combined with spiced pear, rock melon, and honey suckle all combine to make this a welcome addition to a warm spring/summer barbecue.
This mixed case is a chance for you to taste six different pinot gris and pinot grigios, so you can better understand which ones you favour. You’ll be able to sample some of our best-sellers in each variety such as, Eden Road The Long Road Pinot Gris 2017, Pizzini Pinot Grigio 2017, and Longview Queenie Pinot Grigio 2018. All highly-regarded and carefully chosen by us to represent these varieties.

Know your Gris from your Grigio
Did you know pinot grigio and pinot gris are two white wines made from the same grape but with different methods? Grigio, originating from Italy, is picked earlier and tends to be drier and lighter. Gris, originating from France, is picked later and is usually richer, spicier and fuller-bodied.
