This year's Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Shiraz Merlot is a fine example of the style. Wynns Cabernet Shiraz Merlot is a rich and complex wine with enhanced softness derived from the blending of these three classic red grape varieties. The first Wynns red blend (a Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz or "Hermitage" as Shiraz was referred to then) was produced in 1969 making this "Red Stripe" red blend the 42nd vintage.
